slip stitch
hello everyone new knitter here trying a simple baby afgan i cant seem to get the slip stitch right . the directions say slip 1 as to knit it i have the book but the diagram is confusing help me please

You just put your needle into the stitch like you were going to knit it then slide it off the left needle and it goes onto the right. You don't wrap the yarn around it at all.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

If you go to the Glossary tab and scroll down toward the bottom there are videos which show you how to do it - sometimes the videos make sense when the pictures don't. Good luck!
