Knitting with 1 strand cotton and 1 strand acrylic
I want to make a mug cozy for a quick gift. The pattern calls for bulky wool but I have some Red Heart supersaver and Peaches and Cream that I would like to hold together while knitting. Will this cause issues should these item ever need to be washed? Would the heat from coffee be a problem with these materials?

No the heat won't be a problem, but the 2 fibers might react differently to washing.
