Rayon vs acrylic yarn

I would like to know if anyone has used rayon yarn and what they think of it...I usually use acrylic but can't find the emerald green color I want for a project, but in a google search came across a rayon yarn that says emerald green in the color choices. Is it a wash and dry yarn like acrylic?

Which yarn is it? I don't believe they are, but it depends what type - ribbon, chenille, like a regular plyed yarn...

I was able to find care instructions on the manufacturer's site, and it can be washed on delicate and dried on low.
