FO: Mirbeau Slip Stitch Blanket

Pattern: Mirbeau Slip Stitch Blanket
Needle: Size 6 Circulars (for length)
Yarn: Loops and Thread Baby Sport - yellow, green, pink, blue, white

This is my first baby blanket (that I completed). I love it. I made it for my next door neighbor. They just had a baby girl, but at the time I was knitting the blanket they didn't know the sex of the baby. Little Mari will be by muse for all baby things. I have yet to make booties....

The colorway is really pretty. And who says little girls have to have everything in pink? My grand daughters do, but that's because their Argentinean mother is a traditionalist.

Those colors are beautiful! I think its a wonderful color for a baby - it doesn't always need to be pink or blue anyway. It looks soft and snuggly for sure

Oh my my my - that is absolutely gorgeous!!! Nice presentation too! You're so brave - a blank on size 6?? The last time I did that, it took me like a year to make the dang thing. haha

It seemed like a year. Only because half way through I wanted to work on other items.
Yeah....size 6 was a um, eye opening experience. Must plan earlier.

Your baby blanket is beautiful!!! The colors are so pretty together.

When I try this pattern I'm going to use less stitches and a larger needle, like a size 8 or 9. I make the blankets for charity so I try to keep the time involved as minimal as possible.
