Weaving them in was okay..... I would knit rows and once I got tired, I would weave them in. However, If I had it to do over again I think I would carry them up the side.

THANK YOU!! Yes, if I knit this again I definitely will be using BIGGER needles. The blanket is really long too. So bigger needles definitely

That is stunning! Beautiful presentation too! I once started a baby blanket on size 6 needles.....and gave it up very quickly! I bow to you for completing it!

That's a gorgeous blanket!

If you carry the colors up the side, as you mentioned ...would you do something like single crochet along the edge to cover them up? Is the edge st stitch now?
