Desperately need help with a sock
Hi! Well, I'm on gusset and foot part, and yet again I'm confused lol. SO, I have taken some pics of the sock so far, to show ya'll what I mean. I've just finished Round 1, and the instructions go like this:
GUSSET AND FOOT: With right side of heel facing you,
join with an sc in 8 (9)th sc of Row 12 (14).
Rnd 1: Sc in next 6 (7) sc, working along side of heel flap
in ends of rows, work 12 (14) sc evenly spaced to last
row of heel flap, dec over next row and first st of instep
(mark last st for gusset), sc in next 22 (26) instep sc, dec
over next sc and edge of first row of flap (mark last st for
gusset), working along side of heel flap in ends of rows,
work 12 (14) sc evenly spaced along side of heel flap, sc in
remaining 7 (8) sts of Row 14 of heel; join with a slip st in
first sc and mark this sc for beginning of rnd—62 (72) sts.
Rnd 2: Sc in each sc to sc before first gusset marker, dec
over next sc and marked sc (re-mark this st), sc in each sc
to next marked st, dec over marked sc and next sc (remark
this st), sc in each sc to end of rnd—60 (70) sc.
Rnds 3-8: Repeat Rnd 2—48 (58) sc.
Remove gusset markers when working next rnd.
Rnd 9: Sc in each sc around.
Repeat Rnd 9 until 2 1/2” less than desired length from
beginning of heel.
The part that I get really confused on is where it says work 12 sc evenly spaced along side of heal flap, sc in remaining 7 stitches. Well, I keep coming up with 48 stitches, so I added 14 more, but it goes up the cuff. I just really need to know if I'm doing something wrong, or if I'm right, or if I just need to start over or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If ya'll need more pics, I can take more, just let me know what of. I tried to get some good close up pics, and from every angle so ya'll can better understand what I mean. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!! Thanks in advance!!! And I'll also include a link to the pattern. If you need any other info from me, please ask, I seriously am desperate here, bc I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong!!!

I have never crocheted a sock. All your links went to no where. No pictures or pattern. A picture might have helped but with out it I would have to work the pattern as socks are not the easiest things to make.
I will never stop learning or sharing my knowledge!

A bit of searching.
The links were abbreviated (they contain the ellipse ...) so they don't work.

Using Google site search I found the pdf ... WR1797.pdf

( )

I did not find the pictures on photobucket using the jpg file number given, and there were much too many using ... crochet socks (59,000 hits)

Now I'm out of time and can't address the pattern question.
