help (again) for a french beginner
I'm knitting a cardigan from ravelry : http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sedum. I'm here : Can somebody help me to figure out what means "Do not increase any more sts at the neck edges", how can I do that and where are the neck edges? Also "Work even placing sleeves onto scrap yarn as you come to them" How can I place the sleeves onto scrap yarn?.
Thanks for your help.

Continue increases as established for raglan shaping until there are 25sts before the first marker. Do not increase any more sts at the neck edges.
Next Row: Work even placing sleeves onto scrap yarn as you come to them. 104sts
Work even until piece measures 5in from underarm.
Next Row: P2tog, work to center back, knit or purl three together
(whichever applies), work to last 2 sts, k2tog OR p2tog (whichever applies)
Next Row: Work even
Next Row: Work one more decrease row as established.
Work even until piece measures 10.5in from underarm. Begin increasing for hips.

Increasing

Next Row: w1, kfb of next st, work to center of back, m1, w1, m1, work even to last 2 sts, ktb of next st, w1.
Next Row: Work even
Next Row: Work one more row of increases as established above.
Work two more rows even.

The neck edges are the beginning and end of the row. So there should be enough sts there for the front, just keep increasing at the incs in the row as you have been and knit the end sts of the row in pattern. The sleeve sts are the ones between the markers (except the back) so you put them on a stitch holder, or scrap yarn or other needles, then work on the body sts only. I like to use other needles, that way when I get to them again, I can just start knitting off them.

When you get to the row where you put the sts on a holder, it might be a good time to 'try on' the sweater, putting it over your shoulders to see that it fits. The markers for the sleeve sts should meet at your underarm and the back should measure about half the chest measurement you want.
