Felting
If something is knit in stockinette (ie a scarf) will it felt flat or do you still get the curl?

I'm assuming it depends what it is. I've only felted one thing and the edges rolled down on me. You have to dry felted things to the shape you want them, so if you want it flat try pinning it down as it dries.
