Wow - very impressive! I have a couple of pieces I was thinking of refinishing......this might be an easier way to go!! Thanks for the post

Just give them a good paint job (I like the sponge rollers best), and when it comes time to put gel stain on, just make sure your final stroke is in the direction of the wood. When it comes to moulding (as I have around each door), the vertical ones go up and down, and the horizontals side to side. There's no trick, the CHIP BRUSH does it all for you. It's not a flat brush, so the unevenness of bristles is what gives you that authentic look instead of the painted look.
