Berrocco Sadie Pattern Help

If anyone has knitted this pattern, I would really like some help with the printed instructions.

I have finished the first 7" but then the decrease is very confusing to me. The decrease tells you how many stitches to decrease but not how.

Thanks for any help...I paid $80 for the yarn.

Hmm... it doesn't say what type of increase so I'm assuming any type that doesn't leave a whole would do.

Thanks for the link, Jan, and she's asking about the decreases.

The first decreases are across the row to reduce the total number, and these are done on a WS row so you can use p2tog.
