What type of yarns can be used to felt? I keep hearing different things. Most yarn I have is acryllic. Is there a safe and easy way to felt that?Or should I just use wool?
Thanks soooooo much!!!!

No, Acrylic won't felt at all. You need wool content, if not 100% close to that. And make sure you don't buy superwash wool - that's been treated so it won't felt. Look at the label and make sure they say you have to hand-wash it.

yup, you can also check the label for 'felting' - I bought a huge lot of stuff that had GOOD FOR FELTING written on the label - can't get much more confident than that :D

Here's some more help.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
