crew neck
can any one tell me what decrease i should be using to do this? I need to bind off 4 stitches next to eachother and it makes every thing knid of pucker together. I'm not using a pattern just graph paper. thanx in advance.

I would probably bind off 4 stitches rather then decrease.

I assume they are on the edge, right?

dead center in the middle, like the start of the curve around the neck edge? If so, I'd still bind off.

Yep, bind off in the middle, then on a following row, you may need to also decrease the sts at each end of the bind off to make the neck curve around.
