WIP: Traditional Aran Sweater
I started my very first sweater ever on September 24.

I am using Galway 100% wool in a light green. This is the back of the sweater. I am close to 17" in length at which point I start to make the raglan shape for the sleeve. There is one mistake which I don't think is visible in this picture. I had to frog so many times before this error that I couldn't bring myself to frog again so I have accepted the error as my personal touch.

It's beautiful! I don't see the error, and I'm sure no one else will either. Lovely work.

The error is in the large center cable. I am glad it isn't visible. when I noticed my error it was about three or four rows down and frogging that far I find it hard to keep track of what row I am on.
When I am wearing the sweater I am sure my long hair will cover the error. I don't intend to make another error though!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I am really enjoying this forum and all the members. I am learning a lot.
Have a great day all!

I have always loved these type of sweaters. You're doing a beautiful job of it. If the error doesn't interfere with the pattern then people most likely won't spot it, especially if you don't mention it.
