Adding length to finished sweater
I finished a child's hooded sweater knit "bottom to top". His mother says I need to add 2 inches to the body, sleeves are OK. That's easy for a "top to bottom" knit, but is there an easy way in this case?

Welcome to KH!

You can lengthen it, but you'll have to remove the cast on. It's not as easy as ripping back the bind off, but it's not hard. Once you remove it and have the needles on the stitches just knit the other direction and bind off.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
