felting question
i'm new to the forum so i apologize if my question is redundant
i'm having trouble finding what i'm looking for

i have a pattern to crochet this groovy hat that's felted, but the yarn i'd like to use is not 100% wool.

45% polyacrylic
25% wool
20% viscose
10% nylon

this stuff is not going to felt is it?

Nope. That won't felt. You need a non-washable mostly wool yarn to felt. Non-washable means no superwash.

BTW... I moved your post here because it was in the wrong forum. The Knit-a-long forum is for knit-a-longs (KAL) only. If you post in the proper forum your questions will get answered more quickly because more people will see it that know how to help.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
