Sweater pattern help...PLEASE!!

Okay, I need a lot of help with these instructions. If anyone could help I would be really greatful.

Inc and work into patt one st at each end of the next row and 23 foll alt rows, working first and last 6 sts in panel B, the next 1 st at each side in reverse St st, the next 16 sts at each side in panel A and the final 1 st at each side in rev St st. 162 sts. Work 1 row, so ending with a WS row.

I understand all the abbreviations I just am unsure about what it all means together. Please help!

I also know the pattern for panel A and panel B so I'm not too confused about that either =)

Panel A (worked over 16 sts)
Row 1 P3, k2tog, k3, yf, k3, skpo, p3
Row 2 K3, p4, [k1, p1] into yf on previous row, p4, k3
Row 3 P3, k2tog, [k2, yf] twice, k2, skpo, p3
Row 4 K3, p10, k3
Row 5 P3, k2tog, k1, yf, k4, yf, k1, skpo, p3
Row 6 As row 4
Row 7 P3, k2tog, yf, k6, yf, skpo, p3
Row 8 As row 4
Row 9 P2, k2tog, yf, k8, yf, skpo, p2
Row 10 K2, p12, k2
Row 11 P1, k2tog, yf, k10, yf, skpo, p1
Row 12 K1, p14, k1
These 12 rows form the patt and are repeated throughout

Panel B (worked over 6 sts)
Row 1 K6
Row 2 P6
Rows 3 and 4 As rows 1 and 2
Row 5 C6F=sl next 3 sts onto cn and hold in front of work, k3, then k3 from cn
Row 6 P6
Rows 7 and 8 As rows 1 and 2.
These 8 rows form the patt and are repeated throughout

Back
Cast on 114 sts.
Row 1 P1, work across 1st row of panel A, p1, *work across 1st row of panel B, p1, work across 1st row of panel A, p1; rep from* to end.
Row 2 K1, work across 2nd row of panel A, k1, *work across 2nd row of panel B, k1, work across 2nd row of panel B, k1; rep from * to end.
These 2 rows set the postion of the patt panels. Work a further 6 rows, working correct patt rows. Change to circular needle.

Shape sides

This is the pattern up to where I need help with shaping the sides. Can anyone help?
