Need help converting a pattern...
Hello. I found this really beautiful afghan pattern at

Unfortunately I've never worked with panels before. So I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me convert this pattern into one that can be knitted on a single circular needle from top to bottom. Thanks in advance.

You're going to need a really long cord to do it because you'll have nearly 300 stitches on the needles. There is a 3 stitch border on each side of the panels so whether you include those is up to you, but you'll want some sort of border on the outside edges to keep it from curling probably. Cast on for all panels and put markers on the cord separating the panels and keep close track of what you're doing be cause it would be easy to get confused.

I've never done this, but that's how I think it's done.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

It's only about 250 sts without the edging and that will fit on a 36-40" needle pretty well. I'm with Jan about using markers to separate the sections that would be the different panels.
