mitten pattern help pt 2
Okay so I have knitted up to the tip of my pinky finger and now it's time to decrease and I think I may have screwed up...

Here are the instructions verbatim:
"For the left mitten: Readjust your needles as follow: slip the first five stitches from the first needle to the third needle, then slip four stitches from the second to the first and two stitches from the third to the second"

...I have done this but now my working yarn is in the middle of the third needle..so what do I do now?

Thanks

never mind
I just ripped it all out...the decreases were horribly misaligned...don't know what happened. Oh well, I will just try a different pattern...
