Yarn Over between 2 purl stitches???
I am working on a pattern that has a section that reads like this: k1,P1,YO,P1 .... I did the YO the way I do it for a knit stitch but it came out looking like an "X" ... where do we hold the yarn when doing a YO between two purl stitches??

Thank you

If a YO is between 2 purl sts you wrap the yarn around the needles like a purl st. So it starts in front, goes up over the needle to the back and around the front for the 2nd st. If it looks like an X it's just laying over another stitch, not done wrong. Stretch out the sts on your needle and it should drop into its place.
