A Short Story For Anyone Interested

Just popping in for a quick hello! I haven't had much online time of late, but I did manage to write a short story over the weekend and just published it online.

Wow, Mason, just wow! It's a wonderful, sad story! There's just enough description to allow the reader to "see" the setting, the characters, and enough to make the reader wonder how much of the story actually reflects the author's life, without the story being lost to description. And, the story comes full circle. I'm not left feeling something was missed or there's an unanswered question; the story has resolution.

I must admit, my eyes began welling up there at the end. A truly well written story indeed!
