You could do Palindrome in bulkier yarn. I think there's one on the Lion website too. I found another that has the larger ribs, Allegra's Scarf.

Here's a pattern for a reversible cable scarf:

The directions give you directions for making one version in super bulky yarn AND another one using worsted weight yarn.
