Our local charity (that I knit/crochet for) has a "brunch" every year to "thank" all of us...This year it was cancelled due to the H1N1 scare... so my name was pulled and as a door prize I won 12 skeins of Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece...I just don't know what to make with it... the yarn feels kinda similar to Cotton Ease (LB)..and don't I don't make many dishclothes and the color is Holly...Any ideas out there??? Would it make nice hats or scarves???
i think it would make great hats ... usually if im using a cotton to make a hat i crochet it . and make it sort of lacy i really like the way they turn out. ive never used that particular yarn .. congrats on the prize

"I teach you the overman. Man is something that shall be overcome. What have you done to overcome him?
All beings so far have created something beyond themselves; and do you want to be the ebb of this great flood and even go back to the beasts rather than overcome man? What is the ape to man? A laughingstock or a painful embarrassment. And man shall be just that for the overman: a laughingstock or a painful embarrassment..."

"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open."
