Afghan Knit-along

Hi, everyone,

I'm really happy to have found this web site. I used to do a lot of knitting, and would like to get back into it. I would like to do a knit-along of afghan squares. I think this would be a fun way to refresh my skills and learn some new ones.

Does anyone know of any knit-alongs of this type online? Thanks for your suggestions and happy knitting!

Hi Sharon,
Are you on Ravelry? If not, you should think about joining! www.ravelry.com You do need to request an invitation to join, but I think they email back to you within a day or two of your request. It's well worth it! I found a KAL there for the o-wool afghan. They are doing one square a month and started in September-- you might just start in w/ December and then catch up as you can. The first couple of squares can be seen here (scroll down through the blog):

On ravelry there are several groups dedicated to knitting afghan squares, some for charity, some for swaps, some to try out new patterns. I think you may find just what you're looking for there!
