My hubby and I have decided to get rid of our excess weight ONCE AND FOR ALL this year. We are SICK of being too big. He's bowling with the Wii right now. We are loving having that system now...it was our only Christmas gift to each other.
We love our Wii... my resolution is to do the boxing for a half hour every night before bed to help lose weight. We have also had bowling nights for the family it is such a fun system and so easy to use.

I'm moving along on my scarf. Working the stockinette stitch...whew! Must really concentrate on the purl but I think its getting easier each row. Is it normal for the sides of the fabric to curl with this stitch? The first 10 inches of this scarf was the garter stitch. No curling. Now I am working 10 inches of stockinette and I notice that the sides are curling. Perhaps its my tension?

For those who have already passed midnight...HAPPY NEW YEAR

and just think back 10 years to what knitting online was like -- a lot "slimmer" than it is today. Today, the sky is the limit for online knitting, knitting forums, patterns, videos ... it is SO fabulous.

I think the Wii is the best "video game" console created. The other game systems promote couch potatoes, the Wii promotes movement and exercise. Making it fun and part of the game causes people to stick with it. You will be surprised to see how much weight you move around to better places even if you don't change your dietary habits.

Yeah....mimosas are the way to go. That orange juice really makes a difference.

We do a lot of the bowling. I haven't tried boxing yet, but it's on my list to learn this week.
