Needless to say I was very angry, she's not a broken knitting needle, she is my baby who has stole my heart from day one when I brought her home and who totally has my heart and love throughout all of the suffering she has gone through.

Wish I had a good solution to your problem, but the culture is the best thing to do. Not only to tell you what it is, hopefully, but to rule out what it isn't that is wrong with your fur baby.

I called and wrote her a letter about everything this kitten has gone through since I adopted her, mainly because I wanted her to know so that if her other cats/kittens are going through the same thing. Her response to me was that I could use #7. of her contract and bring Molly back and exchange her.

WOW.Just WOW.These people know very well that if you went through the trouble to find them that you would not just "exchange" your new pet like an ill fitting t-shirt.Lady needs to change her #7 to "If after so and so days you realize that your pet has arrived to you in less than healthy condition, I will personally be responsible for all future vet bills until the day I die".
