kimono sweater
Hi can someone explain how this works?

3-lpc = 3-st left purl cable: Sl 2 sts to cn and hold to front of work, p1, k2 from cn. - do this mean slip 2 stitches, hold to front, purl next stitch. Go back and knit the 2 stitches you put onto a cable needle?

4-st left cable: Sl 2 sts to cn and hold to front of work, k2, k2 from cn.
Does this instruction mean slip 2 to cable needle, hold to front of work, knit next 2 stitches, then knit the 2 stitches on the cable needle?

I'm making the kimono sweater by sarah babour and a bit confused with the instructions.
