Cast off

I did a new cast on by mistake and found out it turned out pretty nice. Please see attachments of the pattern on the bottom for the ribbing. Its rather difficult to explain how I actually casted on. To make one I would point my needle downwards and then up and tighten on needle.

I have finished my back and front sides of a cardigan and is stuck with the collar and button bands as I would prefer to have the same pattern as the ribbing for cast off. Does anyone know if this is possible?
