Knitting One-row Stripes Round
I just started making some fingerless mitts for my mom, and I can't find any instructional videos for how to properly knit one-row stripes in the round, carrying the colors to the alternating rows. Are we just supposed to drop and pick up each color? Sorry if this is a dumb questions, I just don't want to screw this up. I'm nervous about messing up something that I'm knitting for someone else. Thanks!

Yep, that's what you can do, but twist one color around the other to snug them up. You may also want to look at the 'jogless stripes' technique so the end of the round doesn't appear higher than the beginning.
