FO: Peaks Island Hood
Pattern: Peaks Island Hood
Yarn: Berroco Ultra Alpaca in Flannery Red
http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Slim/peaks-island-hood

I made this for my co-worker Elaine’s birthday. It's the first time I’ve used Ultra Alpaca. It's light for a worsted, and I knit it on size 9’s rather than 10’s as called for in the pattern. The fabric was just too loose on size 10. It was a bit itchy but softened up some in blocking. The colors are gorgeous, though.
I decided to eliminate the buttons – just don’t like the way they look. If it needs to be secured I’ll recommend a shawl pin, but it seems fine just wrapped once around the neck.

Gorgeous I like the idea of the shawl pin better than buttons, too!

As usual, this is another beautiful work of art, Slim!

BTW: your Rav link didn't work...so I found your project and re-linked it.
