I just broke my DPN
I was knitting patiently with my 5mm bamboo dpns while watching a new episode of American Idol, when, suddenly, the needle snapped. It was so quick I didn't realize it at once.

This is the first time this has ever happened to me. I mean, I know my tension is REALLY tight (the callus on my index finger is the living proof), but... To SNAP a needle? I am outraged at myself.

Luckily, I bought an extra DPN at my LYS. Oh well, I'll just transfer the stitches and hope I'll get over this shock quickly.

If they are wood/bamboo that can happen, but I'm kind of surprised it happened to a larger needle like that.. Glad you had an extra one!

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
