FO: Blue Velvet
Pattern: Vintage Velvet from Scarf Style
Yarn: Muench Touch Me in Cobalt - 3634

I've wanted to knit this scarf ever since I bought Scarf Style, but the yarn was so expensive I kept putting it off. I finally bought the yarn as a Christmas gift for myself. I love the way the scarf turned out, but I worried the entire time I was knitting it that I wouldn’t have enough yarn – the scarf was only 58 inches before felting – but I took it out of the dryer while it was still quite damp and gave it a good stretch and it grew to 67 inches. It's very soft and warm, and I love the color.

Oh yeahhhh, I know this yarn! Ditto for me! My LYS had a scarf on display that used this yarn I do believe. Not felted however.

Your blue scarf is wonderful! And the perfect shade of blue!

I didn't know chenille would felt. Is it made from a natural fiber? I didn't think it was.

Beautiful scarf and color BTW. Sometimes we have to make ourselves do nice things just for us.
