err no I meant I don't care which button you use...I am too frustrated with it to try again, I gave up.

Wait a minute... I think I know what you're doing wrong. You are going to your profile and clicking "user options" aren't you? Don't do that. Go to "User Settings" on the left side of this page right above the ad. Click on that then click on Edit Signature that is on the left side of that page. That will open up a page where it'll look just like when you're posting messages and this will all make sense. Now you'll either follow the directions I gave or if you've uploaded an image to Flickr (that's what I did) you can add it just like you do your photos. Then you select it by clicking and add the url as I previously explained.

Try it. If you still have trouble I will see what I can do.

I've never been able to get it to work for me either. I can get the rav button uploaded and add the link, but you can't click on it. If you hover over the button, it shows the url, but you can't click and go

Go to user settings in the upper left above the ad, not your profile. Click edit signature on the left then click on the Rav icon. Now click the link that looks like a world - - then paste your Ravelry page link in that box.
