binding off
Ok my hat is done I just need to bind off, it is a ribbed hat, so do i need to bind off the stitches as they are, knit the knits and purl the purls?? or can I get away with just binding off the whole thing norma

It'll probably be stretchier if you bind of in pattern.

Is it a top down hat? If it is then I'd bind off in pattern. If it's only the small top of the hat I wouldn't worry about it.

binding off
It is the pattern from the Teach yourself to Knit by evie rosen and I did it in the ribbin form cause that was how the picture looked
and when you normaly bind off you do two stitches then pull one over the other , so i guess you would knit, purl, then pull one off, and do what ever the next stitch is???
