Ok I have been stash diving. I have 900 yds of blue alpaca silk just slightly heavier than a fingering wt. Then I have Cashsoft DK 900 yds. Will either one of these work?

900yds isnt enough...ROAD TRIP to the lys!! get 1200yds (ish) of FINGERING WEIGHT. I want you to have a nice fuffy cushion...the last thing you need to worry about is "do i have enough yarn??"

Yeah...me to....I was 1/4 faster today than I was yesterday. I can also tell now if I am working into a wrong stitch. Sadly though, i am relying on my posts to remind me what pattern I am on....I am currently knitting though the 4th. Remember that when I am complaining that I am out of yarn and on my 21 repeat of the pattern!

Maybe Melissa can publish her pattern with a series of appendices to keep the knitters sane:

Appendix A: Learning how to avoid rookie mistakes and the proper coping mechanisms for when you inevitably make them.

Appendix B: Charts and tables to calculate the number of hours put into your project and successfully incorporating the amount of work done while tinking and frogging. Ripping back because of newbie mistakes counts double (see Appendix A).

Appendix C: Resources that facilitate proper venting (ie KH) so as to avoid going on a murderous rampage because you ran out of yarn on Row 21 of the last pattern repeat.
