Hi Freyja! So happy to see you back!

I have tried and tried all morning to get the grafting. It's 10:30 and Wyatt is coming at 12. I don't know that I can do this in another hour and a half. I've been at it since 7 already this morning! But I haven't given up........ YET!

Just wanted to update you on my non-knitting I'll let you know IF I get done.

I think I've given up. Nothing that I have seen or read tells or shows me how I knit a row with yo's and graft at the same time. I'm still searching but am having no luck. Experience or one on one in person help would have been wonderful. Unfortunately, I don't have either. I'm stuck. I'll have to try again after Wyatt goes home.

What dark yarn?
Columbia is right in the middle for us

when you started the border....you needed to do the first 11 rows with light yarn, and then do the 12th row with dark yarn. the dark yarn is what you will follow when you graft. Having it all one color will make things VERY difficult.

FYI: There has been numorus storms here and I unplug my computer and modem during a storm....so thats why the time distance between answers.

I didn't realize the dark color was scrap yarn.
Instead of ripping, I am going to continue on.

These storms are hard and fast. My dog hates all the thunder.

I'm done. It's far from perfect, but I think I can live with it now.

Heart and Sole yarn, approximately 1100 yards. I'll try to get it blocked and the ends sewn in tomorrow.
