I'm done. It's far from perfect, but I think I can live with it now.
So did you learn how to do the grafting? or learn something from it?

and what did you think of the whole pattern?

i would like to hear any comments from you.

Melissa, I loved the pattern... right up to the graft! As for the graft, I had actual nightmares about it and lost some sleep working on it during the night. Not happy with my grafting skills, but maybe that will come in time. That would be the only thing that I think a beginner would have problems with and I'm sure it's a learned skill that comes with practice.

I did learn how to attach a border and I'm really happy with the whole experience. It will be my first blocking too.

It is one of those patterns that I will probably do again and again.... when I figure out the grafting! I think it's well worth the price you have on it.

After blocking, it's 74 by 31 inches. I didn't have a model around to take a full length photo but I hope this one will do!

Thanks Crycket! I feel like I let Melissa down though. It took me longer than she expected and I just couldn't get the graft right!

Don't feel bad about the graft...I couldn't get it quite right either. Next time I will use a more contrasty yarn, and one that won't felt if I have to take it back and start again many times. In the end I gave up because my yarn was starting to look like something someone pulled out of a sink.

I am sure all of our input was great for Melissa. Especially cause we are all at different lvls of knitting lace!

GO Freyja!!

Im getting real excited...everyone is almost done!!!

I gotta admit tho...im a little worried about you when you get to your grafting Freyja. I hope you will be ok, but without that dark yarn there for the 12th row...your gonna have a hard way to go.

We may have to make a trip to Columbia.
