ah...that sounded so lonely...*smiles*

I am two rows away from the end of my second pattern repeat. It would have been done except I just got back from Pathfinders, and I am not taking lace knitting when I am going to talking to 12-14 year old girls...it is way too distracting...*winks*

Go Crycket, go Crycket! I finished my first pattern repeat this morning so I think it's safe to say that round 2 went to me - ha! Still at the office, but will get back to it tonight. Lisa, did you get to finish your tank?

Oh, absolutely! If you hadn't been on top of it, then I wouldn't have started with a corrected chart and would currently be huddled in a corner crying. By the way, when I say round 2 went to me, I'm referring to me v. shawl. Round 1 was last night when it kicked my ***

I am not happy the shawl was kicking your butt...but I am glad I am not the only one...

If it makes you feel any better...it went much smoother after that first pattern,...but as Murphy and his damn law dictates, any time I missed a yo today...it was usually right at the beginning of a row, that I would find after the row back...meaning I was tinking 2 rows...*sigh*.

I am telling ya...I am an expert at counting to 78....

LOL!! Oh yeah, I too am becoming very familiar with the number 78... I've had to rip back again because I jumped my place on the chart and everything got skewed to the left. Would you look at us? A couple of noobs I tells ya...

The nice thing is now, I can identify where the error is and TINK back. And every 6 rows I move my life line. Which is nice, cause I always end up with a life line just before row 7 and 19. For some reason I have not yet gotten either of those right on on the first try!

Im sorry, i totally crashed out last night. I had a long day.
I got done, and delivered my tank yesterday. ty for asking.
Its cool yall are "moving right along" tho.

It will get easier, you will be able to do it with your eyes closed with another pattern repeat or two....well maybe not...but much easier than before. Its sooooo important that you READ your knitting...you can avoid errors that way. or at least fix them before it gets too far.

You guys rock!!!!
