DECREASING
MY PATTERN SAYS K2 ,KTOG THROUGH BACK LOOPS.IS THE K2 STITCH THROUGH THE BACK LOOPS ALSO??? VERY NEW TO ALL OF THIS. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

No, the pattern will tell you when it wants you to knit thro the back loop (tbl) before the next instruction.

unless im reading this wrong. but thats my opinion.

It looks to me like the k2tog is the only part that is knit through the back loops, not anything else unless it says so.

Please don't use all caps. It's considered yelling in online forums.

As knitters we completely understand! There are a lot of things to yell about... dropped stitches or messed up pattern... OR when you do something cool like that first heel turn in a sock!
