Quick question
It could have been my imagination, but I think I read somewhere that if you're taking our (starting over) some knitted yarn, you can put it in the freezer for "x" amount of time and its "spring" and "bounce" will return. Has anyone ever heard of this or do I just have a very vivid imagination?

I've heard washing it; but never heard of freezing it for anything except killing moth eggs.

Freezing mohair helps if you need to rip it out, otherwise the little hairs stick to each other.
