same here, when I dont do 2 at a time, I count the rounds on the cuff, then the leg, then the heel, then from the last gusset decrease to the first toe decrease & they usually match pretty close, maybe off a round or two from the gusset or toe decreases, but not enought to tell just by looking.

Congrats Julie!
I am officially sick, I have a sore throat and a slight fever. I went to observe a lab so I know what to do for teaching Thursday, but I'm not sure I caught, well, anything. I'm seriously considering skipping my biostats lab tomorrow to sleep.

I do have pumpkin pie ice cream though...

Hi friends!
Praise God that the spots on my liver are benign cysts or biliary hamartomas. Recheck in four months and every six months to a year after that. The doc still wants me to see a kidney specialist b/c we haven't explained the pain and she thinks I may have some food allergies, which we'll test for.

Hope you're doing well. Christine?!? Are you feeling okay?

Emily, you're so creative! How's the book cover coming along? Are you feeling better?

Sista, I have one foot longer than the other. I can wear those socks!

Julie, glad your test went well! YAY on the new baby! How's yours coming along? You feeling okay?

Hi to the rest of you!

DH will be out of town this week so it will be just DD and I at home. She's been driving me crazy. Very self-centered and dating you -know-who again.

Oh no, she's dating him again?

The book cover would be coming along better if my parents weren't re-doing the house - I want to pull out some of my Ecuador stuff to try, but all of my stuff is scattered around the basement, along with everything else from the house. It should be all put away by the next time I'm home, but I'd really like to have a completed cover design in the next couple of weeks and a proof copy, at least, by Halloween... which is the next time I intend to be home.
I do have a couple of things I could use, but my alpaca sweater from the Otovalo market somehow doesn't seem to fit as a cover for a book titled 'Too Close to the Sun.'
And my backpack, but, well, nobody ever said it was aesthetically pleasing. I bought it because it's military surplus, and German, no less, and has therefore stood up to all the rough handling I can throw at it (my previous three backpacks had an average lifespan of three months, this one is now on year 4 and still going strong).

As for how I'm feeling... yes, better, but still not great. My nose started running. It wasn't bad until I went home for the weekend, and with all the dust and fumes in there, I woke up last night because I couldn't breath. When I went outside to load my car and leave, my sinuses FINALLY cleared up and went back to 'mildly annoying runny nose.'

I stopped at the Quad Cities bird fair in Milan, where Copper got to ride around on my shoulder and was a big hit with everyone. He let a couple of other people hold him, with encouragement, but mostly he was nervous about all the people and only seemed happy about things when he was on my shoulder. I got some good deals on toys for him and Artemis. (Although he also had a really good time this weekend with a disposable plastic cup...)

I'm glad everything went well with testing your liver.

Julie - congrats on the new 'niece'! (what IS the official term for your cousin's kid?)

Poor Christine! If it's not one thing, it's another, isn't it?
I hope she at least got my package to cheer her up; I've been worrying that it's lost.
