Hi, I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. I had a colonoscopy on Friday, so I will get the results from that on December 8th.

Yesterday I met a knitter in the coffee shop and she showed me how to finish the blue sweater that I've had hibernating for six years. Wish me luck. It's an Aran knit!

I hope all are well.

Hugs,
Christine

Christine, I had a colonoscopy earlier this year. HATE the prep, but gotta do it. UGH! Prayers are with you that all will be well.

I still have very little voice. So I'm staying home and doing some knitting and baking. I finished a hat and scarf for Olivia and have Nick's scarf half done. Whew! Unfortunately, I can't knit anymore today because my right wrist hurts. Time to do more stretches and rest. I made cinnamon rolls this morning, too. YUM!!! Now to clean the kitchen!

well I've been busy knitting little ornaments, you can see them on my ravelry project page, the first 4 projects listed, and I LOVE doing these. The crocheted one, Kendra's Ornament, is sold & I'll ship it out today It was made by special request by her hubby for her gift for St. Nicholas day.

I also started, last night, 198 yards of heaven, in Malabrigo, :: I'm only about 8 or so rows into it and will it.

Guess I'd better keep studying for my lab final, 5 more days...then I can knit more & sew all of our Christmas stockings.

Question: How do you get all this done, go to school, care for a faily and be pregnant? Your work is lovely.

I'm not sure. I get up between 6:30 & 7 each morning and go to bed about 10pm... my oldest is in first grade from 9-4 and my second is in preschool from 12-3 each day (except Wed) and then the 3 year old takes a nap from about 12:45-2:45 each day so I guess that's how? I just do what has to be done.

this shawlette was supposed to keep me sane while I studied for finals, well it's now done, (still needs to be blocked) and the final is still 4 days away...

I laid it out on the chair & a half that I knit it on. The pattern is 198 yards of heaven, knit with malabrigo and size 8 needles, however I needed more than the 1 skein of malabrigo, which is 210 yds per skein. I had run out of yarn 1/3 of the way through row 15 of the edging and still hd to do row 16 and binding off.
