Of course I will; but, you'll have to wait until I get back from Baton Rouge. Next weekend is Teenie's wedding (gotta get that quilt done. The top is finished!), and that Monday I leave for two weeks.
When I get back to my apartment I'll go digging and find my pattern (pretty sure I've got one in my pattern pile in the corner...) - I'll probably need a waist measurement at least because patterns aren't sized the same as the stuff you buy in stores.
Drop me a pm, and let me know!
I'm looking forward to Baton Rouge - for one thing, I'll be driving through a corner of Arkansas, my 47th state! but the rest of the drive will be less fun. For one thing, it's all plains states and swamp states. For another, it's a fourteen-hour drive. Woo. But, I finally found an audiobook that I like (Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre World... it's actually him speaking it, and it's much less cheesy and more conversational sounding than most audiobooks). And I'm going to load the rest of my music collection onto my iPod this week. So it will be OK.
Hope everyone had an excellent 4th of July!

OK, so I have now got a "meet and greet" with a new doctor for tomorrow night. We shall see if this one works out. Say a prayer for us please so that we get this doctor. It is badly needed. I NEED to be proactive in my medical care and mine does not like that at all.
I'd love to have a nickle for each time I've laughed in my life, I'd be rich!
By the way, yesterday I turned the heel and started the gusset on the sock I am knitting. It's coming along now.
to each and every single one of you!
Gina: Be careful! Hope you feel better soon.
Jess: Sounds like you lead a lot more interesting life than I do. My hubby's waste is 38". I'd love to see him in a pair of them. What entertainment that will be. Thanks so much!
Chris: Thong? I don't think so!!! LMAO!
Darn it, I'm all out of re-runs for Two and a Half Men! It's kept me laughing for days and now they are all finished! Grrrrrr, now what?

I realized that I lead an interesting life when I got pecked by an eagle. My reaction was mild annoyance, and then I suddenly thought, "You know, most people would have been like, 'Holy crap, where the f*** did this eagle come from' or run screaming... wow, I live an interesting life."
Have you ever watched Big Bang Theory? Unfortunately, you can't get full episodes online, but it's hilarious and if you can find the DVDs for rent or at the library or something, definitely one to check out.
And Chris, .

ANNOUNCEMENTS, ANNOUNCEMENTS, ANNOUNCEMENTSSSSSS!!!!!! I fired my doctor, I fired my doctor OMG I got rid of the frikkin *******. I have a really nice new doctor who could not believe half of the things we told him about the old doctor. I cried when he told me I would not be turned away!
They have free counselling! He sent the counsellor a message right with me sitting there. I will hear from her soon. He gave me tranquilizers for "now". He said I may become dependent on them, but that they are needed for now. We shall see how things go. We sat and talked and joked and laughed and I cried and it felt so good.
Now on to the business of healing and getting back to being ME!!!!!
Once again thanks for the support. It's nice to have my knitting family watching my back!

New Doctor
Christine,
I am happy that you have found a new doctor and you can get back to concentrating on healing yourself. May your recovery be seamless and speedy.

Hey all,
Hope you are all well.
I've been working on a shawl, a lace shawl at that. I've never knit one before. Its going well so far, keep your fingers crossed. I've posted details on Rav and on my blog, I've never managed to figure out resizing pictures on here - besides, I need the hits!

Hi friends,
For some reason KH hasn't been sending me updates to our KAL like they usually do, so I thought no one was posting. Stupid me!
Christine, YAY! on the new doc! Remember that no doc is going to be perfect, but it sounds like this one fits what you need right now. I'm SO GLAD you kicked the other one to the curb!
I second Emily's suggestion to watch Big Bang Theory. FUNNIEST SHOW ON TV!!!
Rache, your shawl is BEAUTIFUL!
I hope the rest of you are doing well. I'm having trouble with my jaw/neck/headaches still, but no visits to the ER. I've been doing a little knitting on my sweater and a chemo cap. Knit night is tonight. YAY!
