OT: Disgruntled Frog

One day...I would love to get one of those! I do have a diploma in photography!

I have a little Canon

Apparently it does a lot more than I thought it did!

I have a Nikon D40 (they're discontinued now) and when I had a job, I splurged on a 50mm for it, dude said I wouldn't use my other lenses once I got it and for the most part, he was right!

Stuck taking pictures...

around the house. Mainly cause DH won't let me take pics of him in public til he has more than 20 followers on Twitter!

Not having yarn and needles in his size!

Not having opposable thumbs!

No female disgruntled frog!

Not able to chirp to attract mate!

Because Rodger Rabbit got the leggy dame!

He didn't get a part on the beer commercial!

He's tired of us mammals confusing him with a toad!

The invasive Asian Tiger mosquitoes bite back and taste bad to boot!

Because he looses his contacts every time he licks his eyes to re-wet them!

Because his friend Alex applied for and got the game show gig!

Cars don't stop for frogs!

Because he hasn't been able to sing a lick since he lost his top hat and cane! (old Looney Tunes cartoon).

Because Phil stole his lyrics, " I can't dance, I can't sing."

I have a Canon 450D - that is not too different from your camera. And I own the 50mm 1.8f lense as well. My best bullet in the arsenal I would say. my wide angle is great, too. But the 50mm is just awesome!


I could immagine the frog to stare at the mirror and look all weird...

or you use photoshop and combine 2 pics: He (regular) sits infront of the mirror and stares into it. Back staring: he, but with a top hat and cane (or a bowtie or a crown or any other outfit).... just take both pics, layer them in PS and mask one original frog to show the other. That should be sooo cute!

I did just aquire Photoshop Elements 8, I could have some fun with it! Just have to get the hang of it first!

if you take 2 photos from identical position (tripod? Stand? Camera placed on something?) and email them to me / upload them here, I can have a try at them.
they should just be as identical as possible (light situation, frog placement etc. too.)
I would be glad to assisit your frog with finding a good occupation. Obsession with stuffed animals is fine with me. 34 or not... I think that gives me the option to be 3 years old or 4 any time I want to :D

Those are SO cute!! What a fun project (both Disgruntled himself and the Twitter thing). I'm not on Twitter or I would follow him....but I can confirm that you can see the pictures without being on. Very creative!
