Question on binding off in ribbing
I have been working on this scarf for the past couple of days:

The pattern uses the same 2 rows over and over. If I finish with Row 1, should I bind off using the stitches for Row 2 or just knit the knits & purl the purls as they come up? And vice versa, if I finish with Row 2, should I bind off the next row with the stitches for Row 1??

Or does it not make that much of a difference? I am going to put fringe on the ends if that helps.

I would bind off as the stitch presents itself, but when you add the fringe, I doubt that it would make that much difference.

For ribbing I bind off in pattern and I think it looks better.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
