Slip as if to purl, then knit last stitch?
I have been starting rows by slipping as if to purl, and knitting all the way to the very last stitch of the row. Then I slip as if to purl again, and knit the last stitch again. I am supposed to get a "braided" edge but it only happens on the very beginning and at the opposite side where I bind off. The other two sides are not braided... am I doing anything wrong? Here is a video that explains what I am trying to do... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkzDZ...eature=related Any help is greatly appreciated! I am trying to knit a Harry Potter scarf for a friend!
