Spinning spider silk
This AM I came across a very interesting article about a gorgeous woven textile made with thread spun of spider silk. It's gold in color, but did not require dyeing.

WOW, I love that pattern. I bet that would be super luxurious. I find it so neet that there are so many alternatives to cotton, wool, and silk. I've recently discovered Bamboo with is surprisingly soft. I wish I could touch the spiders silk shawl they have in that picture.
