Fisherman's rib
hi..i really dunno which instruction to follow 4 this pattern..somesaid row 1url..then p1,k1b...p2 at the end..meanwhile the other is ROW 1:k1*p1,k1*,,R21*k1b,p1*R3:k1,*p1k1b*las st k...n many anyone tell me whether this different techniques will produce different pattern..btw i wanna do winter scarf 4 my gufriend,,a gurl..n the color of yarn is slightly dark blue..thanx

Retyping because you put in colons and parentheses which made smiley faces...

row 1. purl..then p1,k1b...p2 at the end..meanwhile the other is

Yes, they may look a little different. You might knit up a sample of about 20 sts and 6 or 8 rows of each one to see which one you like better.

Your post is difficult to read without punctuation.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
