Carrying a color
I need help with carrying a color up several rows. Making a Christmas stocking and need to carry one color up several rows. Also told there was a way to catch it behind a stitch in order to carry it down the row but not sure what to do. Thanks. :XX: Sheila

As you come to where it is attached, just bring your working yarn under it, so the color that is carried up is draped over it. As you knit, it will be held to the side and won't be stretched.
