That's beautiful!!

This weekend I finished my scarf and broke my rule a bit and bought one skein of yarn. It was at the State Fair and hand spun. I couldn't resist! But I had finished a project so it was within the rules :D

I basically just did that with ravelry. It really focused me on getting what I have going to be able to start new projects.

Hi'ya Jeani! Yup it really helps to do an inventory of all your yarns, and make a hot list of patterns you want to knit in 2007!

Thanks for your support to our thread! Stash on Sister!

I agree! Those lists really helped me. It was a challenge to find the perfect patterns for some of the yarn I had bought but it was great to finally match them up.

Good luck!

i got the idea to match them with specific projects from our very own artlady! i remembered awhile back when she told us how she matched yarns with projects using a color coded system and 3x5 cards. i'm not that organized, but i figured writing down what yarns and how much i have, and then the intended project, would be a great reminder as well as an answer for those days when i keep saying to myself "I don't know what to knit!"
now i'll have a list to refer to

(Also posted in "Whatcha Knitting")

Here's my latest FO. I used this pattern, which I must say was not my favorite. The toe on the first sock wound up too small, so I had to frog back. Being a somewhat experienced sock knitter, this pair had me . Go figure...on something so small!

Anyhow, I just love the yarn (purchased in March with a birthday gift certificate), and the fit turned out really good.

Auburnchick! they look so nice on! Isn't it funny how differrent socks and slippers look on and off? I just made a pair of mary jane slippers, and they look so yucky off, but on they are cute!
