Ohh cute kitty ..... Kona picked up an ear for my in the works teddy bear for the new grandbaby and got it all wet .. then the next day got the one that isn't stitched up yet and was going around looking like she had a hairy tongue (it's cut in an oval) .... so I had to cut two new ears ...

I bought this yarn last week at Knitting Night only because I knew I would use it immediately and not add it to the stash .... I must say I won't use it again, it's Cabin Fever Cotton Tweed DK and it's OH SO SPLITTY .... this is the first thing I haven't frogged more than twice so it will be my first project essentially.

ArtLady LOVE your red blanket!!!! Oh and our Michaels just started carrying the Microsoft so I got some Lilac as a yarn exchange, to use for the new grandbaby blanket ....

Toby

gulity secret, managed to blast through four balls of yarn as my boyfriend's sis had a baby - perfect excuse - but then I noticed LYS had a sale on winter wools, so I got 9 balls of Sirdar Denim Ultra for Ģ1.98 each (about $3.86)

Well, I finally got my 'rhythm' down with this aran afghan...you know...when you don't have to refer to the symbols chart every other stitch! I am also Posting photos of the afghan progress,
and two photos of the 'trim' I am thinking about using. Found the pattern in "Over the Edge" book. What do y'all think of it for an afghan edge? Don't you think it will edge an aran afghan pretty well? LET ME KNOW, ok?? I will appreciate your input...I am still a far cry from the edging stage on this afghan!

Took a little break this weekend, and knit up a preemie HOPE HAT for a young woman who goes to my church...she is on bed rest IN THE HOSPITAL til May...or til the baby decides "enough already, I'm comin' into the world, ready or not!" The young mother started dilating, etc. etc. (4 cm) in her 22nd week. Today, she is 26 weeks...and that is a real milestone! The doctors are very encouraged by today's date! If her baby girl was born today, she would likely make it.

I am going to take this little HOPE HAT to the mother later this week! Will knit a complete sweater set(s) later! PS: used STASH for the HOPE HAT!

Artlady - I tried to ad the icon to my signature; the "My stash..." came out OK, but the picture didnīt ( as you will see when I post this ) Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong?

Iīve worked with 26 weekers - they can be buggers!!!!!! Much better if she can hold out until 30+ weeks, but thatīs not always possible. I wish her the best - love the preemie hat! Karen

Well, I just finished a stash project/UFO - my first finished sweater!! Just posted pics in the Whatcha Knittin forum.

I am happy I deserve a reward. Course, I already bought the reward yarn and cast on last week!

Now I want another reward! I will try to restrain myself!
